How do I describe two of the most amazing people I've ever met.  When I first met them I picked them up from the train station and brought them to my studio where we chatted about the day and how we'd organize it etc.  I'll never forget on the way to dropping them off to find some dinner in Princeton they told me about the Package offered to them by another company to which I blatently responded "Did they offer you a kitchen sink to?"  (SMH).  I always make the comparison that no matter what collection any couple gets with me I put my heart and soul into the day and in the end I may not offer 20 albums, 4 canvases and a kitchen sink but I do offer quality.  In the end it doesn't matter how many things someone else offers if they can't give you good imagery.... and apparently that black and white comment stuck with them (as you'll read in their review which I'll include).  A week or so later I get a call back from them saything they were super excited to include me in their day and would love to set up an E-shoot as wel.  Needless to say - I was super excited at the opportunity to work with such an amazing couple as well!

The second time I met them was for their engagement shoot around Central park.  Afterwards we headed back to grab beer and pizza at their apartment and chatted more about the wedding.  During this time we chatted about how often I made it to the city etc and grabbing dinner drinks at some point and then they offered me the holy grail of offers....  A toothbrush - if I was ever stuck in the city and need a place to crash - it'd be there for me.  I can count on one hand how many friends have offered me a toothbrush at their place - so to hear this was pretty awesome and showed how amazing of a couple they were.

Finally came the wedding day.  I could go on and on about how much fun it was but really I think I'm going to let the pictures do the talking.  I adore emotion in photos - and when you have a couple that is head over heels in love with each other it makes the day that much more special to capture.   There is a common saying I've heard over the years during toasts.   "I hope you look back at this day and see it as the day you were in love with each other the least as man and wife" - This is them.  Ever time I met them they seemed closer and closer and to this day with Facebook updates etc I don't know if I've ever seen another couple so willing to give 110% of themselves to the other.

Bottom line - thank you for putting your trust in me.... I couldn't of enjoyed a wedding more than I did yours.

     Their Review:

"How do I begin to write our review of our absolute favorite vendor from our wedding? I would imagine if you are looking at this review you’ve already seen one of Drew’s pictures & if that’s the case, you may be doing what I did which was comparing every other photographer to Drew. I was actually referred to Drew by a close friend of ours & from the moment I saw one of his pictures I was done. I spoke to Drew on the phone & felt like I was talking to one of my friends. He was down to earth, laid back & easy going. He answered my hundreds of emails (literally hundreds) in record time, which is extremely important, & followed through on everything he said he had to offer.

To be 100% honest, my husband & I were hooked on Drew & his work right from the start, however, his packages were more than our original photographer & videographer budget combined. We knew before we got engaged that, to me, photography was the most important vendor – it was our photographer’s pictures that would allow us to relive our wedding forever. After meeting with Drew, we tried our best to consider other (cheaper) photographers but they just didn’t compare. Drew’s name came up at least once a day for two weeks straight as we continued figuring out what to do & then we stopped fighting it & decided to book Drew.

As Drew captured our engagement shoot, we knew without a doubt that we had made the right decision. Drew’s such a talented & passionate photographer whose love for the art shines through in each & every picture that he takes. To say he’s dedicated to his couples is an understatement… at our wedding he literally took off his shoes & socks, rolled up his pants & climbed into a fountain to capture the perfect picture. He’s absolutely incredible at what he does & we plan to have him capture our family’s lives for years to come. If you’d like to ask questions to one of Drew’s former couples we’d be more than happy to chat. Just ask Drew for Marty and Jess' contact information."

    And the photos!

Up north we headed to the wedding of Alison and Drew, a sup cool couple I met months ago.  Upon making it to the hotel and walking in I get greeted by Drew who's running out of the pool giving me a wet handshake and saying he's ready to go whenever he needs to be.  Now I'm not sure about you - but that should tell you all you need to know about my couples.  Who needs nerves when you have a swimming pool?   Up to the room I headed to shoot the details - one of which was AWESOME HOT SAUCE made by the couple themselves - (If you have any extra, when you come to get your photos please bring some - I'm a huge hotsauce fan)  After the dress popped on they jumped into my truck and away we headed into a nearby town I passed through on the way in.  After shooting there it was back to get some family shots and onto the ceremony!  I loved the shot I got of Alison walking in with her parents.  It was definitely an awesome time!  The reception was just as rocking, with Alison and Drew flying through the air at the beginning and dropping to the floor in the middle only to eat cake at the end!

Thanks so much for having me there!

loved their reactions when they first saw eachother!

Sometimes it helps to ask people if you can borrow their cars!

    Loved this shot!
