The First Jeff and Drew Wedding!

I had the awesome time to be the primary photographer at Nick and Kristen's wedding at the Stonehouse at Stirling Ridge.  Not only did we have an amazing couple to capture but we had an all star lineup of photographers of Jeff Tisman and Stephen Govel.  This meant total coverage of a wedding - with so many different shots that it made it incredibly hard to narrow down this blog!

Off to the hotel where we had time to grab some details and the two of them preparing for the big day.  I have to say I loved their reactions to seeing each other for the first time!  From here we set out towards the stone house, capturing whatever we saw along the way, eager to take out any stress on the piñata they brought for Cinqo De Mayo!  Jeff hung out with the bridal party as they did some fun video stuff with a good friend and awesome videographer - Glenn and Violet Elliott (cord3films) as Steve and I walked around the grounds with Nick and Kristen grabbing some awesome shots!  Their reception was filled with laughter and tears and was a blast to shoot - especially with all the angles we could cover :-)  From here we entered the reception and they continued to party like rockstars as the margaritas and sombreros dance around the room.  At the very end of the night we had amazing light sprinkle of rain that allowed to capture one final memorable moment as it all came to a close... or should I say - the beginning!

Can't wait for you two to get back from your official Honeymoon to show you everything!

    Hope you Enjoy!

Awesome detail shot From Steve with the rings!

Nick had a little surprise for her before she finished getting ready.

Nick got all the guys awesome Monogram Cufflinks.

Jeff was able to capture the guys getting ready - or trying to get ready ;-)

We all had a great time capturing their emotions during the first meet!

They defnitely made it easy for us!

    Kristen rocked that veil.

    and then just rocked.

Jeff captured the guys just before they took out the beating stick.

Have to throw in a cool stoic shot in front of a wood pile.... don't we?

Favorite shot of the day... was at the end of the night!

So it was off to the beautiful Ahsford Estate for the wedding of my Assistant Jim's good buddy Jim.  Confusing??  haha Well it turns out Jim told Jim to check out our work - and believe it or not but he didn't hate it.  So he told Sam who and they talked and came in and met me and well.... It was an awesome match.  Sam and Jim were a blast to shoot - and Sam gave me some of my favorite Bridal photos as she rocked out her dress in some amazing light we found!  After their shots it was onto the ceremony and then onto the reception where the band blasted out jams that kept the crowd pumped all night!  I loved the reactions of those two during the speeches.  For any who have seen the movie Up - you have to check out their badges and cake - definitely unique - definitely cool.  You guys were a blast!  So glad to be able to capture your day!

    Some of the details.

    Gorgeous flowers!

If I can get every bride to do this - I'd be a happy man.

    Can you say happy bride?

    The Ellie Badge

And who says you can't make a Gazebo cool?  another fun angle :-)

    Check out that Up Cake!

I did say rocked out right?

What a better way to cap off the night than with a light sprinkle!

So this wedding was a real treat as I was able to capture my cousins big day!  So not only was I having a blast shooting, I was having a blast with family.  Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it!  Jim and I headed to Old York country club to start with the details and found an awesome meeting room.  The windows and symmetry allowed for some amazing shots!  After some getting ready shots Chris and Lia met up for the first time, Chris of course showing his excitement for the day and Lia reciprocating :-).  And from there we set off - having a blast shooting around the area.  While out and about we found an amazing old tree that made for a crazy gothic kiss shot and on the way back found a very inquisitive horse that lent his thoughts on the day.  After the fun shots it was time for the big moment - the ceremony, an incredible intimate ceremony with close family and friends.  The reception was a close and quiet sit down where we all enjoyed some good laughs and great times!

    Thanks you two!
    Photos are in the mail!

    Gotta love the details

The ring bearer was also the armed security.

    Lia looking stellar.

    Christian in his true form.

Loved this horse.  Just so happend to come perfectly in frame to check out the action!

A little bad ass shot of my cousin.

    And how he normally is.

Badass shot of Chris and Lansing (brother and best man)

Super awesome tree that perfectly framed the couple!

    Loved this kiss shot!

Every now and then you get just the right amount of flare ;-)

One last fun shot - a little bad ass.

Off to Hoboken we headed to shoot the engagement shoot of an awesome couple who are getting officially tied together in a few months.  After chatting a bit and Cristina admitting a bit of camera shyness we started capturing some awesome images.  I was pretty sure after the first 10 minutes that Cristina hyped up her "condition" just to give me a little bit of worry ;-).   I had a great time, and they were up to everything! (which is definitely a giant plus in my book).   You two rock and I can't wait to capture your day!!!!

    Some fun detail shots.

I love the images my tilt shift lens makes!  So much cooler when the photos "Real" and not Photoshopped.

Haha This was the "Stache Shot"  and a cool idea I actaully got from Pinterest (heart photo - so props to whoever first shot it)

I love it when we find amazing light!

Loved this shot of them kissing as we headed towards the Pier
