So it was off to the beautiful Ahsford Estate for the wedding of my Assistant Jim's good buddy Jim.  Confusing??  haha Well it turns out Jim told Jim to check out our work - and believe it or not but he didn't hate it.  So he told Sam who and they talked and came in and met me and well.... It was an awesome match.  Sam and Jim were a blast to shoot - and Sam gave me some of my favorite Bridal photos as she rocked out her dress in some amazing light we found!  After their shots it was onto the ceremony and then onto the reception where the band blasted out jams that kept the crowd pumped all night!  I loved the reactions of those two during the speeches.  For any who have seen the movie Up - you have to check out their badges and cake - definitely unique - definitely cool.  You guys were a blast!  So glad to be able to capture your day!

    Some of the details.

    Gorgeous flowers!

If I can get every bride to do this - I'd be a happy man.

    Can you say happy bride?

    The Ellie Badge

And who says you can't make a Gazebo cool?  another fun angle :-)

    Check out that Up Cake!

I did say rocked out right?

What a better way to cap off the night than with a light sprinkle!

So this wedding was a real treat as I was able to capture my cousins big day!  So not only was I having a blast shooting, I was having a blast with family.  Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it!  Jim and I headed to Old York country club to start with the details and found an awesome meeting room.  The windows and symmetry allowed for some amazing shots!  After some getting ready shots Chris and Lia met up for the first time, Chris of course showing his excitement for the day and Lia reciprocating :-).  And from there we set off - having a blast shooting around the area.  While out and about we found an amazing old tree that made for a crazy gothic kiss shot and on the way back found a very inquisitive horse that lent his thoughts on the day.  After the fun shots it was time for the big moment - the ceremony, an incredible intimate ceremony with close family and friends.  The reception was a close and quiet sit down where we all enjoyed some good laughs and great times!

    Thanks you two!
    Photos are in the mail!

    Gotta love the details

The ring bearer was also the armed security.

    Lia looking stellar.

    Christian in his true form.

Loved this horse.  Just so happend to come perfectly in frame to check out the action!

A little bad ass shot of my cousin.

    And how he normally is.

Off to Hoboken we headed to shoot the engagement shoot of an awesome couple who are getting officially tied together in a few months.  After chatting a bit and Cristina admitting a bit of camera shyness we started capturing some awesome images.  I was pretty sure after the first 10 minutes that Cristina hyped up her "condition" just to give me a little bit of worry ;-).   I had a great time, and they were up to everything! (which is definitely a giant plus in my book).   You two rock and I can't wait to capture your day!!!!

    Some fun detail shots.

I love the images my tilt shift lens makes!  So much cooler when the photos "Real" and not Photoshopped.

Haha This was the "Stache Shot"  and a cool idea I actaully got from Pinterest (heart photo - so props to whoever first shot it)

I love it when we find amazing light!

Loved this shot of them kissing as we headed towards the Pier

Woah!  2012.  Helloooooo.   How are you doing? I'm doing great - thanks for letting me capture an awesome wedding to Kick off the New Year!

-Ehhh It's late, and I'm getting tired -which for those who know me actually makes me really really slap happy.  Hense the reason I just had a converstation with 2012... Good times.

I met Rachel actually through the amazing Sheila Gross a wonderful Wedding Minister who was at a few of my weddings in 2011 (though I'm pretty sure we definitely had events in common prior and just can't remember.)  It turned out that Sheila's best friends daughter was actually getting married and she was determined to have me capture it!  And wouldn't you know it - I was given the honor!  It was an amazing day, filled with emotion and great times at the wonderful Franklin Institute.  Rachel and Brad were completely awesome, rocking out the day in fashion and allowing me to capture some of my favorite shots ever!  After they met up (their family snook a peek) we headed out towards the institute, Shooting in the room first and making a quick pitstop on a back street to get some cool "Philly Wall" Captures.  After getting to the Institute the first thing I noticed was the cool pattern on the floor and the fact I could get up High and shoot down with my favorite lens (Tilt Shift) that allows me to fix distortions in a photo!  So after walking around a bit more it was off to the ceremony - one of the darkest, but coolest ceremonies I've ever been too!  Check out the shot of the stars and moon (hopefully I can bribe Rachel to explain the significance of it).  The reception was again ornate and amazing and very colorful, filled with some awesome dancers!  Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day!  Another couple that makes my job so worth it!

    You Rock.

Rachel's mom actually made the match books!

    I love birdcage veils!

Love it when I get labels for the bride and groom!

Rachel definitley gives off some awesome laughs!

    Gotta include the girls.

    And the guys.

How cool is that for a ceiling?

What you can't tell - is that there's 40mph winds blowing around us! Thanks Guys!

    Loved this first dance shot!

Only caption I have for this one is "Grrrrrrr"

Favorite shot of the day to close it up!

After meeting up with Emily and Josh and shooting their engagement photos I knew I was going to have a blast at their wedding and they definitely didn't dissapoint.  The colors of the fall leaves matched their enthusiasm for the days events which made me even more excited to capture it all.  In their hotel room we found some amazing light for some great portraits of Emily that are some of my favorite bridal shots!  From here we headed out to the ceremony and reception where they began the first day of the rest of their lives.   They rocked their reception and I have to say they had one of the most unique dances I've ever seen - and definitely one I'll remember!

Thank you two for giving me such a great day to capture!

Sometimes I think I have too much fun.... ;-)

One of my favorites shots of Emily from the day!

Love the texture of the curtains in this shot.... she made it even better!

    Josh's Six Shooters
