I never realized how much coffee was consumed on a day of the wedding but over the last few weddings I'm starting to get an idea - and as a coffee lover. I love it.
I've known the Laufer family now for a few years and have been a part of many of their friends and families amazing events. Every time I see them I'm greeted with a warm smile and hug from Momma Laufer and it makes the day that much better. As I get further and further back to these weddings that were a few months ago - I can't help but realize how much they stick around in my memory - From the amazing details - to the incredible moments I get to document.... Including cutting a hole in Andrew's Bow tie to make sure it had a nice snug fit (sorry if it was a rental... they'll never know.)
This was officially my last wedding of 2015 and I couldn't of found a better couple to spend it with. After their first look we jumped in my SUV and headed down to Morristown to grab a few more shots of just the two of them. I love the option of just walking around and grabbing more candid locations rather than really scouting prior - it just gives a more candid feel to the shoot and we're able to find amazing light in new locations. After shooting them for a few and having some laughs we headed back to The Park Savoy and met up with the eager bridal party (many of whom I already knew :-). After family photos and a quick Groom Crowd Surf it was onto the ceremony. I usually hang back with the bride as my assistant shoots them walking down the aisle as it allows me to catch the emotions of the bride moments before her family gives her away to the waiting groom. I loved the shots of Amanda and her dad in this setting, both smiling ear to ear knowing that this was the start of an incredible journey.
After the vows it was onto the party, and boy did they party! The setting was stunning with the thought and planning of the details and capped off with an amazing dance and dip at the end. The drinks flowed and the crazy poses cracked me up as they jumped into the Photo Booth with crazy faces and laughter. Luckily I was able to sneak the couple away for a few more photos and ended the night back at the ceremony spot with an gorgeous showering of flowers.
Thank you for having me be a part of your incredible wedding day!
Loved this shot from her snack bag. Being a phtoographer it made me laugh since you often say CHEEESEEEEE!!!! By the way - the answer is - Yes they are ready!
